The SIM Card
As we described in the book, the SIM card contains information about the phone subscriber. Information that the phone providers uses to identify and allows you to connect to their infrastructure. What's neat about this card is it has storage capacity, enabling you to store contact information. Like most of today's cell phone users, it is quite common to change phones. It happens all the time when you renew a plan or switch to a different provider. What does a SIM Card looks like? A simple google search will yield a number of images as you can see from this link. Or, simply slide open the back cover of your BlackBerry and take out the Battery. The SIM card is located behind the battery. When taking the SIM card out, note the original position. You won't be able to fit it back if you insert it the wrong way. The SIM card should like like the image below:
